2020 Judges Forum Academic Papers

As part of NCJI’s 28th annual Forum for State Appellate Court Judges, “Dangerous Secrets: Confronting Confidentiality in Our Public Courts,” two law professor members of our faculty authored original academic research papers exploring in depth the topics pertaining to confidentiality in litigation. These papers, and the authors’ presentations of them, served as the centerpiece for the Forum discussions.

Foundational and Contemporary Court Secrecy Issues by Prof. Dustin Benham, Texas Tech University School of Law
Confidentiality in the Courts: Privacy Protection or Prior Restraint? by Prof. Sergio Campos, University of Miami School of Law
